What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

As my 2nd time as NUS Delegate I want to further push for 3 major issues during conference:

Climate Action

A fair and sustainable transition towards carbon neutral universities.

Demilitarisation

Push to end university ties to arms trade, and promote ethical research .

Cost of Living

Universities to acknowledge student's living struggles, and to offer support according to needs.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

Experience

Being a delegate last year means that I know how the NUS conference is structured. Knowing how it runs allows me to make a greater impact by efficiently discussing during policy making sessions

Intersectionality

I constantly seek to improve my communities, which I have done through being a member of society committees, advisory groups, and more. I am a great team working individual which eases change through collaboratively working with people with different perspectives, and working with issues that need to be tackled together.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

I am someone who has shown to invest their time in tackling issues that affect the greater community

My active participation on different types of focus groups is the reflection on my determination to create change in my community, and wider into society.

We all care about the ongoing injustices currently happening to those affected by the 3 major issues discussed during the conference.

Lets bring change together.
