What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

For the Faculty of Population Health Sciences UG Rep role, I bring leadership, communication, and organisational skills developed over three years as a Course Academic Representative and in my role as Vice President of the Population Health Sciences Society. These experiences helped me advocate for students, collaborate with staff, and lead initiatives that enhance student experiences. My ability to gather and represent student feedback, combined with my passion for public health, will enable me to contribute effectively and drive positive change for the student body.

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

If elected as the Faculty of Population Health Sciences UG Representative, I aim to:

  • Strengthen the connection between students and faculty, ensuring student feedback is actively considered and implemented.
  • Continue improving assessment methods by building on last year's progress and working closely with faculty to make assessment marking clearer and more consistent.
  • Promote student involvement in shaping academic policies and decisions.
  • Advocate for better academic and wellbeing support, ensuring students have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Students should vote for me because I bring three years of experience as a Course Academic Representative, where I have actively advocated for your interests and worked with faculty to improve our academic experience. I am committed to making assessment marking more consistent, enhancing communication, and driving real change. I will also focus on creating more social and career opportunities, ensuring a well-rounded university experience. With a passion for public health and a track record of delivering results, I am ready to keep making a positive impact for all of us.
