Election post

Status
Elected
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

Climate Crisis Action: We need to act now as a university and as a nation to save our planet. We have to take individual action. I will be the voice and point of reference to those that want to take action and help in the climate crisis.

Ethnic representation: There is much more work to be done for the Latin American community, and other communities to be fairly represented in the national census. I want to advocate for us to be heard and to be accurately represented in UCL and the national census.

Accommodation: Our payments should go in hand with the quality that we receive.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

Active Action:

I was a Student Rep during my time at sixth form. My team and I were successful in opening new recreational spaces around the building, and increase social events.

I now want to take this experience and bring it up a further step and be involved in more crucial things at UCL

Motivations:

I want to take this role as a NUS delegate as I feel there is no one advocating for the exact same issues as me. I have a personal drive that wants to see effective change in how we tackle climate change, how everyone is fairly represented and how we are give the accommodation we deserve of.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

I represent people of different backgrounds- I can understand and relate to many of your struggles as I have been through many of those myself.

I want to bring the change specially in our university, and later to other places. such as councils

We need your help to bring the change we all want and need to keep living at standard conditions.

This is our change.
