What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

I hope to create a friendly, positive and diverse community at One Pool Street and make sure that no one feels alone or excluded. Living with so many people from different backgrounds can be challenging, but also exciting! It is important that people's culture and traditions are respected and that everyone feels comfortable with each other.

I have many ideas about activities we can organise (eg. pizza outing, badminton matches, sunset picnic etc.), so we get to know each other better! I am proud to represent my peers and meet regularly with the staff, and provide a link between students.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I lived in a boarding community for 6 years and was, in my last year, in charge of organising activities. I also met regularly with the housemistress to give feedback on the general welfare of the house. Within the school, I was Deputy Head of Diversity and Equality, which emphasised the importance of a vibrant, inclusive and positive environment. With these past experiences, I am confident in fulfilling the duties of a Hall Community Officer with success.

I have a strong sense of responsibility and is ready to dedicate time helping make our hall a better place for learning and enjoying life.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

Students should vote for me because I am someone who can make their time at their UCL hall more exciting, happy and comfortable. I have lots of ideas about activities we can organise, eg. sunset picnic!

Having studied abroad and went to a boarding school, I am aware of difficulties that international students face when first leaving home and living alone. I am happy to reach out or be a good listener.

I consider Hall Community Officer to be an important position of responsibility, therefore if I happen to be chosen, I will carry out this role and fulfil its duties to the best of my ability.

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

As a Hall Community Officer, I see an opportunity to develop key skills that will last a lifetime.

First and foremost, organizational prowess is at the top of my list. Coordinating events and activities for UCL Accommodation residents will be a fantastic chance to hone this skill. From planning to execution, I'm excited to learn how to keep everything running smoothly and create memorable experiences.

Representing fellow UCL Accommodation residents and actively participating in various forums will provide a platform to improve my ability to articulate ideas and concerns effectively.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

So, picture this: I step into One Pool Street, wide-eyed and a bit overwhelmed. But you know what made all the difference? That super-awesome student ambassador who made me feel like I'd just found my home away from home.

Now, it's my turn to pay it forward. I want to be the friendly face that welcomes students, eases their worries, and makes them feel like they belong. Safety, comfort, and a sense of belonging – that's what I'm all about!

You see, I've got this knack for bringing people together. Back in high school, I organized the most epic events, and everyone always had a blast.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.
