Election post

Elected
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

If elected, I hope to foster a welcoming environment with a strong sense of community here at Ramsay Hall and Ian Baker House. I would endevour to help every resident feel safe and at home, and I will ensure that every voice is heard.

I would do this through helping organise and execute several inclusive and unique events for the residents to experience the vibrant social atmosphere and tighten our interpersonal bonds; as well as contributing to meetings, town hall and forums to ensure the residents have their opinions represented whilst making the security and safety of the hall my priority.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I have extensive leadership and teamwork experience, developed through being the founder and president of my school's Medical society, where I had to work as part of a team to organise events and presentations. These skills will be invaluable when working together with the other residents, representatives and staff eg to organise events and execute projects.

My friends would describe me as an attentive listener as well as an outgoing public speaker, qualities that would allow the voices of residents to be heard.

I am also harworking and passionate about striving for improvement and safety.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

When I moved to ramsay hall just a few weeks ago, I knew no one. Now, I have met so many wonderful people who have made living here an incredible experience and I would like to give back to this vibrant community. If i were to be hall representative, I promise you that I will strive for the best for us; whether that be through organising incredible events or improving the facilities. I will ensure that every voice is heard and every opinion is put forwards, allowing the accomodation to be what we want it to be.
