What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

Having served in this capacity last year, I have a strong grasp of the responsibilities involved and a proven track record in addressing various student and faculty issues. My experience has sharpened my abilities in effective communication, encouraging constructive discourse, and advocating for beneficial changes within the academic community. I am committed to active listening and problem-solving, which will allow me to effectively represent the interests of students and teachers.

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

If elected, one of my core objectives is to foster a stronger sense of community and belonging. I believe that fostering a more connected and inclusive atmosphere is critical for academic performance as well as personal well-being. I hope to guarantee that every student feels part of UCL and also a true sense of belonging within your academic community. I would actively engage with students and ensure that your voices are heard and your opinions are considered. I would proactively seek input from Lead Departmental Reps and Course Reps within my faculty, fostering a collaborative environment.

I bring experience, dedication, and a commitment to creating a more connected and inclusive academic community. As a former faculty representative, I have hands-on experience in this role, which means I understand the intricacies of the position and can hit the ground running. My dedication to this role goes beyond mere responsibility; it's a genuine commitment to representing your interests effectively. And most importantly, I promise, your voices will be heard.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

During junior and senior high school, I served as a class committee member in charge of general affairs for 6 years. I dealt with the daily affairs of my classmates, e.g. apply for items repair. I also arranged the class fee and planned class activities. I was given the "Excellent Leadership Awards" twice for my efforts. I also participated in the foundation department of the student union. I volunteered for various activities and I was in charge of the "Hand-in-Hand Charity Project" during this time. It is a donation and teaching support made by my high school to a primary school in Yunnan.

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

I want to contribute to our faculty and try to make it better as much as I can. I also believe this is an excellent opportunity to improve my communication skills. Speaking with my classmates and getting their opinions is something I am interested in. I think I am suited for this position because of my high school student union and class committee member experiences as I frequently assisted my classmates in contacting teachers during high school time.

I have the experience to serve as a class committee member in charge of general affairs for six years. In high school, I also took part in the student union's foundation section. I am aware of how crucial student's opinions are to the professors and administration of the school. I want to contribute to our faculty and try my best to improve it. Also, speaking with classmates and getting their opinions is something that I am interested in. For the reasons listed above, I think I am suited for this position. Thank you!
