What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

At the age of 16, I joined the tennis team for my school and many of my teammates viewed me as being friendly and compassionate; especially revolving around mental health. When major competitions approach and my teammates struggle with anxiety, I always try my best to offer my fullest support in order for them to realise their true potential and performance their best selves. Furthermore, I am trilingual so I can effectively communicate with various individuals of different language backgrounds.  

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

I believe in a healthy team, communication as well as happiness of my teammates is key. I hope that being a welfare sport rep will allow me to not only perform in excellence in my desired sport but also support my colleagues for them to strive better. To get an amazing team is for everyone to be improving and through catering to people’s mental health, I can achieve this team

Through my past experiences, I have gained the necessary skill to be a good listener, when my friends approach to me with dilemma, I try my best to seek for various solutions and rectify their problems. As an engineer, I always deconstruct problems and provide the best possible solution.
