What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
I had the honour to be nominated by the faculty for the academic rep of the year award in UCL (2021-22). I have also been working closely with the faculty as an academic rep for 3 years consecutively in UCL and being the lead academic rep for biomedical sciences in 2021-22. With my experience and devotion, I am confident that I can contribute extensively as a faculty rep (e.g. feedback from students and to ensure a high level of student satisfaction), and most importantly to facilitate communication between staff and students to address any issues raised
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
As the PG faculty rep, I will ensure that:
1. Life Sciences students can access different resources from UCL (student support and wellbeing, counseling, etc.)
2. Students will be able to raise concerns through a platform and would be resolved in a timely manner
3. Regular meetings with relevant staff members to resolve outstanding issues raised
4. Student's satisfaction within the faculty and UCL at a high level

To conclude, with my experience of working within the faculty of life sciences and my passion to serve, I am sure that I can fulfill this role and to ensure PG students within the faculty will be well taken care of and will have a great year in UCL!!
