Election post

Elected
What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I am a 3rd year student, studying Engineering and Architectural Design (MEng) at the Bartlett. Having been the Faculty of the Built Environment UG Rep last year as well, I think the most important quality I bring to this role is my experience. In addition to that, having held committee positions in the Society of Engineering and Architectural Design(SEAD) as well as having been academic rep for two consecutive years, I'm well acquainted with planning and organising events.I'm extremely approachable and you can come up to me at the Bartlett or contact me via email about any concerns you may have

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

I intend to bridge the gap between the various courses in the Faculty of the Built Environment. I have experienced in the past that mainly students belonging to the same course as the Faculty Rep are able to voice their concerns freely. To counter this problem, I aim to be available via zoom (and occasionally in person at the Bartlett) every week to all students, for them to voice their concerns, opinions, and suggestions which I would bring up at the appropriate meetings.I also intend to help create a stronger network between the different courses under the faculty through socials and events.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

To summarise, I aim to use my key qualities of experience and approachability to create an ideal experience for the students I will represent as faculty rep. I vow to be a serviceable means of communication between the students and the Faculty and tackle all concerns with due diligence and empathy. In addition, I also aim to work towards intra-faculty student integration by organizing socials and events that help facilitate networking.
