Nigerian Society: Treasurer

Hello everyone, I am excited to run for Treasurer of the Nigerian Society because growing up in Nigeria, I experienced firsthand the warmth, resilience, and rich culture that make our community special. Now, I want to ensure that every member of our society feels that same sense of belonging, joy, and connection.

The Nigerian Society is more than just a group—it’s a home away from home, a place where we celebrate our heritage, support one another, and create lasting memories.

With experience managing finances as Treasurer of the Engineering Society at my previous university, I understand the responsibility that comes with handling budgets, ensuring transparency, and making strategic financial decisions that benefit everyone. I have successfully planned events, allocated funds efficiently, and ensured financial accountability, which are all skills I am eager to bring to this role and secured sponsorship with BAE Systems that year.

Beyond my financial management skills, I have a background in entrepreneurship and project management, and as an executive in UCL Entrepreneurs (Women in Tech division), I have helped organise initiatives that empower students and drive engagement.

If elected, I will:
