Event Manager

Hey everyone, I'm Alyssa from Hong Kong. Unlike many of you, I didn't grow up in a culturally diverse family. Having spent the past 18 years in Hong Kong, I was captivated by the diversity of London. This led me to join this society, eager to learn more about people from different cultural backgrounds. Surprisingly, despite our varied origins, we've formed close-knit bonds and created an inclusive environment.

I understand the challenges of overcoming language and cultural barriers. Therefore, I strongly believe in the importance of fostering a welcoming and comfortable environment for all members.

As an event officer, my commitment is to create an open and inclusive space, offering opportunities for members to contribute their ideas and voice their thoughts. I aim to craft unforgettable memories and strengthen our cohesiveness by providing comfortable event spaces. Additionally, I will gather feedback after every event for improvement, ensuring we can better tailor our future events to cater to the diverse needs of our members.
