Election post
Hi! My name is Snigdha and I would love to join the Modern Political History Society, and serve as Treasurer. Through my economics degree and engagement with global events, I have grown to become fascinated by how political decisions, institutions, and ideologies are shaping the world we live in today. I am excited to be a part of a community where I can learn and engage with others about these events.
I am particularly motivated to take on the Treasurer role because I enjoy working with numbers, organization, and responsibility. Through my work in other societies, I have developed an understanding of how I can accurately forecast expected expenses. I want to help ensure that funding is allocated fairly and strategically so the society can grow, host engaging speakers, run discussions, and support members’ interests.
