Maria Stebbings

I am a mature student who graduated in history from UCL in 1984 and am now doing a Master's at UCL. I have been working in publishing for 35 years and in that time have been a team leader who was responsible for the well being of my team ensuring they could cope with the stresses of life and work. I also have a daughter who is recovering from mental health issues so feel I am well placed in understanding and empathising with students who are struggling. I am a good listener and approachable and am able to offer advice and help to anyone who needs it.  I am passionate about the Medieval Society and want to see it grow and thrive and I'd like to help the leadership team do this.

Aman Kaur

I believe I would be great in the role as I always aim to create a safe and supportive environment for people around me, an important part of that is being open minded and promoting inclusivity. I am always up for a friendly chat if anyone has anything on their mind or wants someone to reach out to.

I love Medieval fashion, I try and look out for it in the Disney movies I watch as many hint to the time period being an inspiration for dresses etc., the era also fascinates me because of the architecture, especially Medieval castles and churches.

Eloise McEvoy

Hi, I'm Eloise! I am a final year History undergrad, specialising in medieval history. I am standing because I would love to get more involved with the society and help to make sure all events are inclusive, accessible, and welcoming. I am passionate both about medieval history, and the promotion of a friendly, fun, and safe environment wherein everyone is able to enjoy and participate in our shared interest! I hope to be an approachable figure who is able to help with any queries or questions, however big or small.

Yiping Zhang

I am standing because I am interested in getting more involved with the Medieval Society and the role of a welfare officer seems to be interesting.
