Your Voice, My Spark
What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

I hope to transform the UCL Women’s Students’ Network into a space that feels both empowering and genuinely connected. I would focus on creating inclusive, accessible events that bring together women from different courses, cultures, and year groups, especially those who may not yet feel confident stepping into student leadership spaces.

I want to design a balanced, inspirational calendar: relaxed socials that build friendships, skill-building workshops that support confidence and career development, and collaborative events with other societies to widen opportunities.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I bring leadership experience as a UCL Student Ambassador and Transition Mentor, where I organised events and supported diverse groups with confidence and clarity. 

I have strong communication and organisational skills, ensuring events are well-planned, inclusive, and engaging. As a medical scientist, I am passionate about equity and value creating safe, empowering spaces. I am proactive, creative, and committed to listening to feedback to continuously improve the Network’s social impact.

Most importantly, I always have a smile on my face and strive to be someone others can easily talk to!

For established events such as: 

  1. A termly “Women in Action” series connecting socials with tangible outcomes — mentorship sign-ups, skills exchanges, and collaborative project launches
  2. An Annual Flagship event that becomes a recognised tradition, bringing together students, alumni, and guest speakers to build long-term influence and legacy for the Networks.
  3. Free Sanitary Products in all bathrooms across UCL campuses, with disposable heat patches available at reception and small blankets for warmth!
