Hi everyone, I am Natalie, an undergraduate student.
As Women's Students' Network Campaigns Representative, I will:
- Advocate for women's rights and safety by leading campaigns against gender-based violence.
- Promote inclusivity through workshops, panels, and networking events that amplify women’s voices.
- Secure more funding for women’s societies and ensure free period products remain available on campus.
- Expand career opportunities by organising career fairs, connecting female students with inspiring professionals and potential employers.
I will bring strong organisational skills from my experience in organising large-scale conferences and volunteering events. Through female-focused programs at finance firms, I understand the challenges women face in male-dominated industries. My 4 years at a girls’ school experience deepened insight into the barriers women encounter in STEM, equipping me to drive the change. My bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese enables me to bridge language gaps and foster communication. Most importantly, I’m passionate about creating inclusive social opportunities for all female students.
This past year as Female Student Campaigns Representative, I've delivered on my promises—advocating for women's safety, promoting inclusivity, and expanding career opportunities. With proven experience in campaign organisation, cross-cultural communication, and advocacy, I know how to turn ideas into action. I will ensure female students’ voices are heard and their concerns addressed. By voting for me, you are choosing someone who not only values efficiency and collaboration but also brings a global perspective to drive positive change for all.
Hi, everyone! I am Naeun, a first year BA Communications student.
If elected as Campaigns Representative, I hope to:
- Design campaigns that create supportive and empowering spaces for women at UCL.
- Organise engaging and thoughtfully structured campaigns that encourage participation rather than passive awareness.
- Promote open and honest conversations in safe environments.
- Strengthen collaboration with other societies to promote inclusivity and cross-community support for women.
- Celebrate UCL’s historic commitment to women’s education while fostering confidence, visibility, and connection.
I bring strong organisational and communication skills developed through my experience as an Academic Student Representative, where I worked with students and staff to coordinate discussions and ensure constructive dialogue.
I am confident in planning clearly, communicating effectively, and delivering initiatives with structure and reliability.
As a woman studying at a large and diverse university, I understand the importance of spaces where we feel confident, heard, and supported. I focus on practical, community-centred initiatives that are genuinely meaningful to women at UCL.
Students should vote for me because I am passionate about creating a supportive and respectful environment for women at UCL. I believe campaigns should feel relevant and approachable, encouraging students to participate rather than feel distanced from the conversation.
I am committed to listening carefully, working collaboratively, and approaching this role with responsibility and consistency. By voting for me, you are choosing someone who values inclusivity, open dialogue, and practical action to strengthen a visible and confident community for women across campus.
