I’m running because I genuinely care about community, not just a title. I’ll be an approachable, honest and proactive Officer who listens to your voices and acts on what matters. I aim to build strong connections across UCL, drive real impact through events and initiatives, create meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth, and celebrate the achievements of all women. Together, we can make the Women’s Network a truly safe, empowering, inclusive, and thriving space for every student. I would love to have your support in making this a safe space we share :)
I bring approachability, strong communication and collaborative leadership. Growing up in an all-girls school shaped my confidence in female-centred spaces, where our voices were centred and not peripheral. I’ve volunteered with Solidarity Sports, supporting disadvantaged children, and advocated for girls to pursue STEM at A levels. As a once Irish provincial hockey player, I value the strength of women’s sport. Through my experience working with Young Muslims of Eire, I have led events and discussion circles and spoken on RTÉ, advocating for young women with confidence and accountability.
If elected, I hope to strengthen representation, accessibility, and community for women at UCL. I want to create open channels where students feel safe raising concerns and confident they will be acted upon. I aim to promote inclusive, intersectional spaces and collaborate with other officers and societies to support diverse experiences. Ultimately, I hope to leave the role having built stronger connections between students and the Union, improved awareness of support systems, and created a campus environment where women feel confident, supported and empowered to thrive.
Students should vote for me because I combine lived experience and action. From advocating for girls in STEM to competing in women’s sport and representing women on RTÉ, I have consistently championed inclusion and confidence. I will ensure women at UCL feel heard, supported and powerfully represented, both socially and academically. I thoroughly support students feeling heard, supported, and represented, turning concerns into meaningful action and creating inclusive spaces where every woman can thrive. I am prepared to dedicate the time and effort required to make that commitment meaningful.
I will bring a safeguarding-led, student-focused approach shaped by real case exposure. During my mini pupillage at Garden Court Chambers, I supported work on a domestic abuse case, which sharpened my understanding of coercive control, risk, and why survivors need clear, trusted pathways to support. This aligns with the Women’s Officer role: advocating for safer spaces, better reporting and follow-up, and practical signposting to support services, while representing women students with empathy and credibility.
If elected, I will prioritise safer campus culture and practical, measurable support for women students. I will push for clearer reporting routes, faster signposting, and transparent follow-up so students are not left in limbo. I will work with UCL and the Union to strengthen prevention (consent education, bystander training) and improve welfare access for those facing harassment, abuse or discrimination. My aim is simple: fewer barriers to support and stronger accountability across UCL.
Students should vote for me because I have a track record of turning student concerns into real change. As a house captain, I represented the girls in my year when restrictive summer clothing rules were introduced; I gathered concerns, presented them clearly to senior staff, and helped secure a rule change. I will bring the same calm, organised advocacy at UCL: listening properly, challenging issues with evidence, and pushing for safer, fairer outcomes for women students.
As a student passionate about equality and community building, I bring initiative, strong organisational skills, and a collaborative mindset. UCL has a proud history of expanding access to education and championing equal opportunities for women and men. I want to continue that spirit by ensuring women at UCL feel supported, heard, and empowered. I will work with societies and student groups to create opportunities, encourage dialogue, and build a stronger, more inclusive community for women across the university.
If elected, I hope to strengthen support networks and opportunities for women across UCL. I want to encourage collaboration between societies, host events that promote leadership and professional development, and create safe spaces where women can share experiences and ideas. Inspired by UCL’s historic commitment to equal access to education, I aim to ensure that women continue to feel empowered to participate fully in academic, professional, and social life at the university.
Students should vote for me because I am committed to building a supportive and empowering community for women at UCL. I believe in practical action, listening to students’ concerns, and creating opportunities that help women grow academically, professionally, and personally. UCL has long stood for equality in education, and I want to continue that legacy by ensuring every woman feels represented, supported, and confident in pursuing her ambitions.
