Women's Engineering Society: Welfare Officer

I’m running to be Welfare Officer as I’d like to help building a friendly, helpful place for all who are in the Women’s Engineering Society. I want to be the person people are happy to go to, to give sensible, reassuring help at society functions and to help the society generally have a good vibe.Because I study engineering, like the members here, I’ve got really good skills in managing my time, speaking to people and working with people, all of which means I can do a good job with committee members and members. I will do what I can to make sure society happenings are fun, that all are welcome, and that everyone gets the backing they require.
