Water Polo Club: Treasurer

Despite just starting water polo this year, I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment with the team. From training together to taking part in socials, I have benefited greatly from the friendly and supportive community, hence why I have decided to put myself forward for a committee position. Back when I was an undergraduate, I was the treasurer and senior committee member of the Theatre Society. My responsibilities included drafting the yearly budget, booking and paying for venues, reimbursing members for their purchases, and looking for sponsors on behalf of the society. I believe my experience in carrying out these tasks will benefit me in carrying out this role diligently and accurately. If elected, I wish to broaden the reach of the society by assisting people from different economic and social backgrounds to take part in training, competitions, and socials, as well as look for internal and external funding sources for new training equipment.
