Water Polo Club: Media Secretary

Guys. I've literally seen Canva more than my parents this year (and I live at home). Yes, my time-management skills may be incredibly questionable, and I may disappear off the grid from time to time. But, when I cook, I cook.

What do I plan to do next year? Keep those weekly team line ups, incredibly humourous match reports, and the tunes flowing. I'm not too sure what else you can ask for to be honest. 

My Chinese new year resolution (bit late for bog standard normal new year)  is to be more timely. I'll get the posts in on time, and make sure everyone is happy. I hope to also secure another 2k that will disappear in the hands of our new treasurer, so we can hopefully get those shotclocks in, just in time for Southampton's blog report. 

Now that I've had a year of constant telling off's on the groupchat, next year is my time to shine and keep the high quality media consistent. New year, new me, posts will be ON TIME.

I am running for water polo media sec to create an online presence so aesthetic and powerful that it intimidates everyone we play against, before we even get in the pool(watch out kings.) It will be a gorgeous and symbolic collection of sensational BUCs and LUSL wins, socials so legendary we’ll have to make the outsiders bid for tickets and a digital collection of the best year of water polo history. You will scroll down through 60 prosperous years of UCL waterpolo to show your grandchildren the 2026-7 season (don't laugh) and with a nostalgic tear in your eye declare ‘The only thing better than winning every game that year was how beautifully it was recorded on Instagram’ I am keen to document the WOMAN’S TEAM (come on girls!) and i also nominate Aiyi to pick the music. We are, as I type this, on 999 followers,(also how many goals UCL will score next year) so i would like to donate my media skills to our influencer era, as we go into the quadruple digits and start receiving PR. 

I am good at taking pictures, good with deadlines and someone told me i was funny this week so that is why i am confident i will make a great media sec. I am also willing to skip swimming to get dynamic action shots of the team.
