What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
  • UCL Volunteering Week:Collaborate with volunteering reps from different societies to host interactive workshops and community projects
  • Buddy Programme:Connect students with children/elderly residents through in-person activities and letter exchanges
  • Global Volunteering Trips:Launch fundraising and conservation trips supporting schools,sustainability projects and communities worldwide
  • Volunteering & Networking Hub:1:1appointments with alumni,charities and NGOs for mentorship on projects and careers
  • Volunteering Awards:Celebrate and recognise students’ dedication with a hour-based achievement system
What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?
  • Volunteering experience:
    OXFAM– Organised major fundraising events (music marathon, trailwalker), coordinating outreach, logistics, and administration with 200+ organisations
    NHS Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital– Supported paediatric patients through music, art, and storytelling
    Rockinghorse Children’s Charity– Assisted fundraising events and donations, developing strong teamwork, empathy, and communication skills.
