Travel Society: President

As the founder of Travel Society, I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come in such a short time. From launching our social media to start building our community, to planning our first events, the society has already had a great start and I’m excited to keep that momentum going.

Travel has always been a huge part of my life. From going on my first trip abroad without family at 16 to Morocco, to having spent 3 weeks solo travelling across Europe, to visiting 12 different countries last summer, I have personally seen how empowering, challenging, and transformative travel can be. This inspired the creation of Travel Society as I wanted a way for more students to experience that confidence and opportunities themselves whilst also being immersed in a friendly community.

Over the past months I’ve also been working on planning the society’s trip to Brazil next year. Continuing as President would allow me to carry this project through and ensure it becomes an unforgettable experience for our members.

As President, my goal is to grow Travel Society into one of the most exciting and happening communities at UCL. I will organise regular socials where members can meet travel-minded friends, continue to run fun events like the flight raffle, and plan incredible trips around the world.

My aim is simple: Build a happening society that inspires students to explore the world.
