Travel Society: Outreach Officer

For me, Travel Society is not just about destinations, but about the people and shared experiences that make those journeys meaningful. As a student of Italian and Portuguese, I am especially passionate about cultural exchange and meeting new people, and I would love to help expand the reach of the Society in an exclusive and dynamic way.

As Outreach Officer, I would focus on building genuine connections across UCL. This includes collaborating with other societies - particularly cultural and language societies - to organise events and widen our network. I would ensure strong visibility at key moments such as Freshers’ Fair, while also promoting events through both face-to-face engagement and a vibrant online presence.

I would love to showcase members’ travel experiences, share practical travel tips, and highlight affordable opportunities for students. Outreach should feel accessible and exciting, whether someone is a seasoned traveller or planning their first trip.

I am organised, proactive, and approachable, and I am committed to ensuring everyone feels welcome and involved as our society continues to grow.
