Cameron Woodberry

Hey! I'm Cameron, and I'm running for Taylor Swift Society's Welfare Officer for 26-27!

For as long as I can remember, I've loved Taylor Swift. My earliest memory of being a Swiftie was probably when I was around eight years old, being sat in the back of my parents' car and dancing away to 1989. As I grew older and my love for literature began to grow, I found a whole new level of appreciation for Taylor's work. Studying English Literature whilst being a part of Taylor Swift Society at UCL is the perfect match! It's like the dominoes cascaded in a line, to be honest.

Being a part of the TSS committee for two years in a row would be fantastic. This past year (25-26), I was the Events Officer. It was such a great opportunity to meet all of you that make TSS a reality, whilst also being able to plan future events for the society.

This year, I'd love to be the Welfare Officer. My main aim will be to encourage inclusivity in our society by offering a range of events. I understand that many of our members treat the karaoke and party events like holy ground, but I also appreciate that some of you prefer more laid back social occasions, like our typical Tuesday nights at the Swiftie Seminars, or arts-and-crafts nights. Additionally, being a Welfare Officer, I take care of you guys, the most important part of TSS, our members! If you have any queries or concerns, I'll be there for you. Together, we'll all be dancing through the lightning strikes until that sky is opalite!
