Election post
I’m so excited to be running for INUGSC Director! As the current Workshop Programme Lead, I’ve learnt what it takes to create impactful, high-quality surgical education and am eager to build on this momentum.
Beyond INUGSC, I’ve worked across the Global Surgery, Transplant and Oncology subcommittees, gaining insight into international collaboration and team management. Alongside this, my continued involvement with the wider surgical community through training and research initiatives has strengthened my network and procedural knowledge.
My goals:
- High-fidelity workshops
I want to redefine the standard, pioneering the next generation of simulation-based, hands-on workshops: providing delegates with practical, realistic experiences that go beyond traditional teaching. - Expanding networks
Launching an International Ambassador Programme, partnering with medical schools abroad to build sustained links and increase global delegate attendance. - Global Voices
As an international conference, we should reflect surgical excellence across borders. I aim to expand our reach and secure world-leading international speakers. - Building relationships
Developing sustainable partnerships with teaching hospitals, sponsors, and societies to ensure long-term growth and continuity.
With a passion for surgical innovation, I am committed to solidifying INUGSC’s presence as the surgical conference for medical students, nationally and internationally. I would be honoured to have your support.
