What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

Let’s be honest, most candidates will promise transparency, accountability, and representation of students. Those things matter, but I want to make sure they actually happen. If elected, I’ll focus on asking the difficult questions that keep the Union financially strong, responsible, and working for students long-term. I want to do something different and actualy make Trustee decisions clearer and more visible to students, so you know how and why decisions are made and feel rightful ownership over your union. A Students’ Union works best when students don’t just vote for it - they trust it.

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I bring vast leadership experience, initiative, and teamwork. As Student Council President and Head Boy, I learned how to represent different student views while making decisions that benefit the larger community. I was a trailblazer in starting student movements where there were no such before, which shows that I am proactive and solution-focused. I am responsible, conscientious, and fun, meaning that I take things seriously while working effectively with others. I have hiterto attempted to maintain as many relationships as possible with UCL students, and will strive to be their voice.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

Vote for me if you want a Trustee who will push to make UCL and the Students’ Union more exciting, open, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of. Vote for me if you want someone who will question decisions, push for better ideas, and make sure the Union is always working for students. Vote for me if you want someone approachable, energetic, and actually fun to work with - not just another name on a board. If you want a Union that feels more alive, more engaging, and more student-focused, then I deserve your vote.

UCL is celebrating its 200th birthday in 2026. What do you think UCL will look like in 200 years time?

In 200 years, lectures might be holograms, AI might be our study partner (not like it isnt already), and students might attend seminars from across the world. But I hope UCL still feels the same at its core: a place where people meet, challenge ideas, and build friendships that last long after graduation. And ideally, by then we’ll have perfected two things: faster Portico renovations and fewer Moodle crashes.
