Spanish and Latin American Society: Vice-President

I am presenting myself for the position of Vice President for the Spanish and Latin American Society. I am eager to keep on contributing to this society and helping other students have as good an experience as I have had in UCL. Having previously served as Head of Social Events, I have already had the privilege of contributing to the growth and community of our society. In that role, I worked to create inclusive and engaging events that brought together students who are native speakers, language learners, and those simply passionate about Hispanic cultures. Through organising socials, I saw firsthand how powerful this society can be in shaping students’ university experiences. b

Now, I want to build on that foundation. As Vice President, I would bring both experience and continuity. I understand how our committee operates, the effort behind successful events, and the importance of clear communication and teamwork. My time as Head of Social Events has given me practical organisational skills, but also a deeper appreciation for what makes our community special.

I would be honoured to serve as your Vice President and to continue contributing to a society that celebrates hispanic culture and community at UCL.
