Skate Club: Social Secretary

Hi! I’m Silvia and I’m running to be Skate Society’s Social Secretary! I want to bring more socials to Skate Soc!

Joining Skate Society in my first year has allowed me to make my best friends and actually improve in my ability. I am an inline skater, and have always been stuck just going fast, but now I can do tricks and I know you all know how much cooler that is! Despite my blading skills I will ensure all skater types are included, whether quads, boards or blades!

During the winter and rainy months it can be difficult to organise skating sessions, but that doesn’t mean that the fun has to stop! Think climbing, ice skating, roller rinks, movie nights, karaoke and much more! The possibilities are endless.

I think that socials are really important as they allow members to connect beyond just the sport, allowing for the community to get closer and making the society more fun.

If you vote for me for Social Secretary, I can guarantee super fun times for all Skate Society members, so in my personal unbiased opinion you definitely should.
