Why am i running for Vice? Because running for President sounded like too much paperwork.
You might have seen my face around SOP already, I tend to be here quite a lot.
I’m very friendly, always happy to chat, and I really care about making SOP community comfortable, enjoyable and memorable for everyone.
I won’t bore you with long paragraphs glazing myself.
Just vote for me xx
Hi, I’m Yoonhee(Yoon), a second year student, and I’m running for the Vice President position because I want to support our School of Pharmacy Society in creating a more inclusive and engaging community.
As Vice President, I hope to bring my experience in event organisation and networking to help deliver fun and insightful events for our community. My goal is to facilitate our society in offering a balanced mix of social activities, wellbeing initiatives, and opportunities to support students across all years.
My past experiences range from being the lead Year 2 Academic Representative and a Transition Mentor, to volunteering with DKMS and working in healthcare and industry settings. Through these roles, I have gained insights that I'd love to share with our wider community. I hope to help create more opportunities for us to relax and feel supported throughout the demanding MPharm journey:)
If you know who I am, then you have seen my work ethic first hand, and if not I am ready to prove why I am the right person to help lead SOP Society.
I am stepping up for Vice President role because leadership shouldn’t just be about maintaining Status quo. In the previous year I have shown that I don’t just plan tasks, I execute them with a vision whilst supporting the student body. As Vice President I would ensure opportunities are available and accessible, whilst listening to your concerns, needs and ideas.
Successes like the SOP ball last month were just the tip of the Iceberg which required negotiation, collaboration and team management, all of which are core pillars of being Vice President.
If I were to be elected, some ideas to put forward for next year would be career and exam prep workshops, wellness weeks to support you during exams, collaborations with other Pharmacy schools and societies, as well as social events such as game nights, trivia, quizzes and many more.
Ensuring your voices are heard and working with our President and faculty members is just one of the things I would do to make next year extremely rewarding for you all, as well as provide opportunities for everyone, no matter the cost or time it takes.

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for giving me a moment of your time.
I'm standing because as a first year, I sincerely believe I have had the most exceptional experience at the UCL School of Pharmacy possible thanks to the UCL SOP team.
Countless academic opportunities, events, infographics to support students' learning and our UCL experience. I would be honored to be a part of that process for our incoming students.
I want to improve our placement opportunities and support, gathering student experiences to identify areas for improvement and explore new partnerships. I want to ensure that the student society is well-supported, and create amazing social and welfare events throughout the year to foster a healthy work-life balance. We can make our school feel even more like a collaborative, supportive family where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered to shape their educational experience.
Ultimately, I'm standing because I love our school, and I'm ready to put in the hard work to make our time here at UCL Pharmacy truly exceptional. I've got the energy, the ideas, and the practical experience from my role in the events team to hit the ground running and translate student needs into tangible improvements. I'm here to serve you, and to help build an even better, more connected, and more supportive environment for all MPharm students.
Thank you for your consideration. I'm excited about the possibility of working even more closely with all of you to achieve these goals.
I am standing for Vice President because I want to help shape a community where every student at the School of Pharmacy feels represented, supported, and inspired.
This past year has shown me that pharmacy is more than just a degree; it is the foundation of patient care, teamwork, and responsibility. Having realised this, I want to actively contribute to helping students at the School of Pharmacy develop these skills through engaging academic and career-focused events. At the same time, I believe university is about more than lectures and placements — it is about the friendships, memories, and sense of belonging that shape our experience. I want to help strengthen our social calendar with inclusive events that bring year groups together, celebrate our achievements, and create a supportive, connected community.
Through my roles as Media Lead and Chair of Student Council, I have developed the organisation and communication skills needed to turn ideas into action and actively support both the committee and the wider student body. I am standing because I want to contribute to building an ambitious, welcoming, and socially connected student community.
