Cass Mills

As a theoretical physics master's student focusing in quantum, I am no stranger to getting stuck into some research papers, and I do my best to keep up with latest updates in my field. The rate of discoveries in research in quantum technologies can feel dizzying, and if you're outside of the field, it can feel daunting to keep up with. 

I recognise the value of good scientific communication, and have a lot of experience in teaching people in non-scientific backgrounds physics. Everybody can understand the principals of quantum physics with the right education opportunities, and we as a society can provide those opportunities.  As research officer, I would be excited to bring the cutting edge of quantum technologies research to our members in easily accessible and understandable formats.
