Polish Society: President

Cześć! Hi all! My name is Ola, and I’m a second-year Politics and International Relations student. Having served as your Events Coordinator and Vice President over the last two years, I would love to continue contributing to the Polish Society as President next academic year. Through organising a variety of events, from cultural celebrations like tłusty czwartek to larger gatherings (e.g. Wigilia), I have gained strong experience in planning, teamwork, and leadership. I’ve worked closely with committee members and external partners to deliver successful, well-attended events. These experiences have strengthened my organisational skills and ability to collaborate effectively. As an active member of the Society, I am genuinely committed to our community and always strive to contribute beyond my role. If elected President, I would love to expand our collaboration with other Polish societies across London, creating opportunities for joint events, networking, and larger-scale celebrations that bring our wider community together. I am also passionate about further promoting Polish culture, heritage, and traditions on campus, ensuring our events both celebrate our identity and engage the broader university community. I want our Society to be a space where we proudly share who we are, while also inviting others to learn and engage with Polish culture.
