I am standing for Community Outreach Officer because I believe UCL Poker Society has strong potential to expand its presence within the wider London poker community.


 

Over the past year, I have been highly active in London’s live poker scene, regularly playing in £2/5 games across major casinos. Through this experience, I have built connections with a wide range of players and individuals within the poker community. I have also competed in a WSOP event, gaining first-hand experience of larger competitive environments and understanding how structured poker ecosystems operate.


 

These experiences give me more than just playing knowledge — they give me access, awareness, and perspective.


 

If elected, I aim to:


 

  • Strengthen relationships with London poker venues and communities
  • Create opportunities for inter-university competitions
  • Explore sponsorship or partnership possibilities
  • Increase UCL Poker Society’s visibility beyond campus


 


 

I want UCL Poker Society to be recognised not only as a student club, but as a serious and respected presence within the broader poker network.


 

Poker is a game of networks as much as decisions. I intend to use both.
