Network committee members actively support Student Officers that convene their network, and assist with the over-all decision making processes within the network.
The Treasurer shall:
- Ensure that all income and expenditure is accounted for.
- Work with the network convenor regarding budgets for any proposed events and activities.

I’m eager to help create a more inclusive and empowering space for students of colour at UCL by making sure the society’s resources are used thoughtfully to support and celebrate our members. Being POC's Treasurer since Oct 2025, I have prioritised keeping our budget organised and transparent so the committee and Student Union knows how funds are spent and feels confident that they benefit the whole community. I’m excited to continue using our budget efficiently and creatively to host more vibrant cultural and social events that honour and showcase the diverse backgrounds within our society!
I bring strong financial and organisational skills from my role as a coffee shop supervisor, where I manage stock budgets, negotiate with customers, upsell products, and introduce cost-efficient seasonal ideas. I have led budget-friendly events including a latte art competition, karaoke, and Secret Santa. As POC Treasurer, I launched a monthly newsletter celebrating and honouring figures from different backgrounds, and have ensured our budget supports a diverse range of events, including our Dholki and Galentine’s nights. Re-elect me to keep our finances strong and our events even stronger.
I’m committed to making our society’s resources work for everyone; I intend to be transparent with my aims and ensure that everyone is on board. I want people to leave our events with a lasting, meaningful impact and I am eager to navigate this in a cost-efficient manner. I’ll use my ongoing experience as Treasurer to ensure POC creates more inclusive and vibrant activities. I’m passionate about celebrating our diverse cultures so every member feels represented, heard, and empowered.
