Pharmacology Society: President

Hey there everyone, I am Zi! I am currently serving as the Vice president for this year’s Pharmacology Society and I am eager to run for the president for next year. In this role, I have worked closely with committee members within our society and collaborated with members from other societies. Through these experiences, I have gained first-hand leadership experience and valuable insights.

If I am elected, I plan to introduce a series of accessible workshops to address the nightmare of every pharmacologist… coding, interviews and especially presentations. As a pharmacology major, and even as a student in general, we rarely get the opportunity to practice or prepare for such scenarios before it is too late. I strongly believe tackling these areas would not only diversify our skill sets but also expand our career options.

I am especially eager to run the many of the successful events we had previously again, potentially adding an innovative twist to enhance them further. I will also continue organising talks with professors and professional leaders in the fields of pharmacology.
