Padel Tennis Club: Treasurer

I’m running for Treasurer because I genuinely care about this society and the atmosphere we’ve built around it.

I’ve been playing padel for several years now, and it’s honestly one of the best parts of my week; whether it’s a competitive match or just a fun session with beginners. What makes UCL Padel special is how open it is. All levels mix, improve and enjoy it together. That’s something worth protecting.

I was on the committee for a year as Training Officer, working alongside the founding members, so I saw firsthand how the society was built and what it takes behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly. I haven’t been on committee this year because I’ve been on a year abroad in Milan; which, to be fair, also gave me plenty of time to train my padel hahaha.

Through that experience, and as a former Welfare Officer in another society, I understand committee dynamics well: how supportive, reliable and organised each role needs to be for the team to function properly.

And yes, I’m currently doing an internship in internal audit, so I promise the numbers will be safe with me. No mistakes, no mysterious budget disappearances.

More seriously, I’d love to help keep the society financially organised and transparent so we can continue growing, running great events, and keeping padel accessible to everyone.
