Padel Tennis Club: Social Secretary

My name is Jamie. I grew up in Spain and learned a bit of padel while I was there. I am an ex-committee member and fully committed to transforming this society into the most prestigious, electrifying, and phenomenally dynamic sporting community at UCL. Through the organisation of magnificent, exuberant, and utterly unforgettable socials, alongside tournaments, collaborations, and groundbreaking initiatives, we will make this society the best padel society in the UK. 

One of the main reasons I enjoy being part of Padel Society is the friendships and atmosphere it creates. As someone who is naturally outgoing and comfortable speaking to everyone, I enjoy bringing people together and helping create an environment where members feel connected beyond weekly sessions.

As Social Secretary, I would organise events that complement the competitive side of the club - for example, mini-tournament evenings followed by socials, team based challenges, or society wide nights out. My aim would be to create well planned events that encourage interaction across all year groups while keeping the energy and personality of the club strong.

I am confident, approachable, and enthusiastic, and I believe I could organise enjoyable events that strengthen the social side of the society.
