Natural Sciences Society: President

I want to make Natsci Soc fun and enriching, fast-tracking events that actually involve people and aren’t exclusive to just going out on pub crawls and expensive boat balls! As a Londoner I know firsthand there is so much more to do that’s affordable and actually forces us to bond and get closer as peers. These should be way more regular, and easier to access, and I know that we all want to actually see our friends from completely separate streams more often so I want to give everyone the ability to do that. 

Also, I want to ensure more academic events like networking opportunities, talks (interesting, unique ones) and work experience panels get prioritised because at the end of the day we are an academic society and I think it would be helpful to all to have informative events that can help us know what’s possible after graduating. 

Finally, I will make sure we collab with other societies as regularly as is manageable so everyone has a chance to mingle with people from other degrees.
