Multicultural Society: Treasurer

If elected as Treasurer, I would aim to:
-    Keep events affordable and accessible so everyone can take part. Experiencing multiculturality should not be a luxury!
-    Plan diverse, creative events that reflect the hybrid and multicultural identities of the society members.
-    Manage our budget transparently and work closely with the committee to prioritise what members actually want.
I want to make exploring and sharing our identities something open, welcoming and financially sustainable.
I grew up in an intercultural household and understand how complex and personal identity can be (which is why this society matters to me  ). I’m organised, responsible with money, and a good communicator. I’ll keep clear records, plan ahead, and make sure we use our funds in ways that benefit the whole community.
Multicultural Society is about sharing stories, traditions and identities that don’t always fit into one box. I want to help create a space where everyone feels seen, represented and welcome, without events becoming unaffordable.
