Hello! I am Anindita Chatterjee and I am a current Year 4 running to be your next Acute Care chair! I would like to deliver more practical, engaging and relevant events for both clinical and preclinical students alike! Through my clinical placements I have seen the huge role that early triaging and emergency medicine have in stabilising acutely unwell patients.
More practical events
1. Airway management workshops
2. Chest decompression, cardiac tamponade management
3. Clinical scenarios in a formal simulation setting
4. Collaborations with wilderness medicine to explore pre-hospital
More tutorials:
1. How to tackle your acute medicine placement for Year 4s
2. A to E assessment tutorials
3. Presenting complaint series -- how to work towards differentials
4. Tackling treatment algorithms
Talks:
1. London Air Ambulance
2. ACCS Pathway
As Director of iNUGSC 2025 and workshops coordinator the previous year, I have ample experience in coordinating large scale events and organising practical skills workshops. This will allow me to allow you to experience the wide variety of practical skills that acute care has to offer! As part of wilderness medicine, I have cultivated many connections with those in the pre-hospital and emergency medicine pathway which I hope to be able to nurture and allow students to see the acute side of internal medicine.
