wassup I'm Amir, I'm probably the least qualified person to ever be the maths soc president, BUT THATS WHY IM PERFECT!
you probably don't want a personal cv so here's the cool stuff:
I'm not a nerd, I barely passed my midsessionals BUT WE LOCK IN!!!
I'm the founder of grademy.work - the BEST AI Learning tool, imagine your own ai tutor but you ACTUALLY LEARN (instead of cheating :p)
- ITS ESPECIALLY BUILT FOR MATHS! -- if im president, EVERYONE gets access!!!
I'm always in the common room so you probably know of me already!
I'll put on the livest events (this one is actually good, I've got connections to interational professors and top bank personal so this would be cool)
my mom said I'm cool :)
sooooo yeah I think you should vote for me it'll be awesome, pretty trivial choice! cya :)
I am applying to be the President of UCL’s Maths Society because I am deeply passionate about both mathematics and creating an inclusive, dynamic environment where students can thrive. Over the short time I’ve been a student at UCL, I’ve seen the incredible potential for growth and collaboration within the society, and I want to help shape it into a space that not only nurtures academic curiosity but also fosters a strong sense of community for both home and international students. As president, I would prioritise expanding our events to engage a wider range of students, whether that be through more interactive study sessions, society collaborations, or bringing in industry professionals for talks. I believe in the power of mathematics to inspire, challenge, and unite people, and I want to ensure that the society remains a welcoming space where students at all levels feel encouraged to explore, connect, and succeed. My past experience in leadership and event coordination, combined with my passion for making a positive impact, would enable me to drive these changes and elevate the society to new heights.
