Marketing and Advertising Society: Welfare Officer

I'm standing for Welfare Officer because I've really enjoyed being part of this society over the last two years. After serving as Events Executive and now Head of Events, I've got to know how things run and I want to keep contributing in a different way.

Welfare is one of those roles that can easily be overlooked, but it matters. I'm someone people tend to feel comfortable talking to, whether that's about something society related or just general uni life. I'd want to make sure anyone who needs a chat knows there's always someone there.

I also care about maintaining the friendly, inclusive atmosphere we've built. The society's been a positive part of my uni experience and I'd like to help ensure it stays that way for everyone else.
