Marketing and Advertising Society: Head of Events

I am standing for Head of Events because I believe well-organised and engaging events are at the centre of a strong and active society. By participating in many of MarkAD’s events, I have come to understand the level of preparation, coordination, and teamwork required behind the scenes. This experience has motivated me to take on a more active role in ensuring that future events are delivered smoothly and meaningfully.

Through previous leadership and promotional roles, including serving as an Academic Student Representative, I have developed strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage projects responsibly. Coordinating tasks, meeting deadlines, and working closely with teams have required structure, reliability, and attention to detail. Building on the value I have gained from MarkAD’s insight sessions, panel talks, and committee-led workshops, I would like to help further develop these initiatives by introducing more career-focused panels, practical skill sessions, and interactive opportunities that encourage wider participation.

If elected, I aim to prioritise clear preparation, effective teamwork, and thoughtful execution throughout the year. As MarkAD continues to grow, I hope to support that development by helping deliver inclusive, well-organised events that strengthen participation and bring members together.
