Ananya Kurian

I would like to be Charity Officer for UCL Malayali Society because I think it’s important that alongside our social events, we also make space to give back in small but meaningful ways. Our events already bring a lot of people together and I’d like to use that to run fundraisers for causes that matter. I am organised and willing to put in the effort to plan creative fundraising events that bring people together.

I would love to be the Charity Officer of the Malayali Society because I am passionate about giving back to the community and using our shared culture as a force for positive change. The Malayali community has always been rooted in values of generosity, unity, and social responsibility, and I want to help translate those values into meaningful action through well-organised and impactful fundraising initiatives. As Charity Officer, I would aim to support causes both in Kerala and locally, ensuring that our society makes a tangible difference while also bringing members together through collaborative events. This role would allow me to combine my organisational skills, creativity, and commitment to service to strengthen our society’s impact and uphold the spirit of compassion that defines our community.
