Dear members of UCL LEGO Society,
Founded only last year, we’ve already built a small but dedicated community of LEGO enjoyers and secured our first subventions. We’re at a crucial moment! The society is thriving as we have the chance to turn those first bricks into a stronger & more visible society attracting new members hence becoming a creative home for UCL students. Thereby, I’m standing for President of the UCL LEGO Society.
I’ve gained strong management skills through my work in volunteering associations and previous roles on society committees (Research clubs, local associations …). I also have experience securing sponsorships and building partnerships. This experience helped me create welcoming spaces where people feel genuinely included, and I hope to bring my genuine passion of LEGOs to enhance what we already have !
As President, my priorities would be :
- Expand our membership
- Wider range of events (ex : theme builds, competitions, big builds, movie nights…)
- Strengthening our identity
- Managing our new funding wisely.
- Collaborations & relaxed socials with other societies
- Raise our visibility through outreach, partnerships, and a stronger online presence
I’m running because I believe the LEGO Society can become one of UCL’s most imaginative and welcoming communities. With clear direction and collaborative leadership, we can grow our membership, deepen our sense of community, and build something lasting, brick by brick.
