Korean Society: Vice President

Hello everyone, I am Juhyuk Kim, and I am nominating myself for Vice President of UCLKS.

This year I had the privilege of serving as first year events representative, where I helped organise and promote several society events. Through this role I saw first-hand how the events should be organise and exactly what work should be done to build a strong Korean community within UCL. Through this experience, I developed a deeper appreciation for the work behind the scenes and realised my desire to take on a larger responsibility required to run the community more smoothly. As vice president, I hope to not only support the community, but also strengthen collaborations with other departments and schools through continuing academic/recreational events. 

Most importantly, I want UCLKS to remain as a welcoming, warm community for everyone for both enrolled students and first-years. If I am elected I plan to endeavour fulfilling this purpose.
