Italian Society: Social Media Manager

Italian culture is vibrant, expressive and full of personality — and our social media should reflect exactly that.

As Social Media Manager for the Italian Society, my goal is simple: make our socials more engaging, more visible, and more fun.

Great societies have great events, but great social media is what makes people actually hear about them and want to come. I want our Instagram and other platforms to feel like an extension of the Italian Society itself: lively, welcoming and impossible to ignore.

My approach would focus on three things:

Visibility — more consistent and engaging posts so events reach more students.
Personality — creative content, reels, memes and highlights that capture the fun of Italian culture.
Community — showcasing members, event moments and making followers feel part of the society.

Throughout school I loved building communities, from organizing events through student council to bringing people together across different groups. Social media is simply another way to strengthen that sense of community.
