I am standing as Social Media and Marketing Officer of UCL Indonesian Society because I believe communication shapes community. A strong society is not only built through events, but through how we tell our story, engage our members, and represent ourselves publicly.
As Indonesian students at University College London, we are part of a diverse and global environment. Our online presence should reflect our identity, professionalism, and creativity. I want to ensure that our social media platforms are not only informative, but also engaging and visually cohesive — platforms that members are proud to share.
Effective marketing goes beyond promotion. It requires consistency, strategy, and understanding our audience. I would focus on creating a clear content plan, strengthening branding, and ensuring timely, accessible communication for all events and initiatives. By improving coordination with other committees, we can amplify their work and maximise outreach.
I also see social media as a bridge — connecting current members, alumni, and external partners. Through thoughtful storytelling and stronger engagement, we can build a network that extends beyond campus.
Most importantly, I stand because I care about representation. How we present ourselves matters. I am ready to contribute creativity, structure, and commitment to help shape a more visible and connected UCL Indonesian Society.
