I stand for Vice President since the Indian Society holds strong value within the UCL community. For many students, the society offers a sense of familiarity and cultural connection while studying in London. For others, the society offers an opportunity to engage with Indian culture through food, music, and social events. I want to support this space while helping the society grow across the year.
I enjoy working within teams and helping organise activities which bring people together. Through my involvement in societies at UCL, including the Asset Management Society, I work closely with others on projects which require coordination, planning, and clear communication. My experience at BDO also strengthened my organisational skills and accountability within a professional team environment.
As Vice President, I want to help the committee run events smoothly while building stronger engagement among members. I want the society to remain welcoming for new students while continuing to host large cultural events which celebrate Indian traditions and community.
This role gives me the chance to contribute to a community which plays an important role in student life at UCL. I want to support the President, work closely with the committee, and help build events which strengthen the society for both current and future members.
