Hi everyone! I am Aryan, A 1st year Geography and Economics students. I’m running for Head of Marketing for India Society because I want to help showcase the energy and culture that make our society so special.
At my previous school, I was heavily involved in promoting major events. I designed posters for charity fundraisers and social events, and created promotional videos for large school occasions that were shared across social media to increase engagement and attendance. Through this experience, I developed strong skills in visual design, digital promotion, and understanding how to capture people’s attention online.
If elected, my goal would be to ensure India Society’s events are promoted in a way that reflects how exciting and vibrant they truly are. This would include creating engaging posters, short promotional videos, and consistent social media content that builds hype around upcoming socials, cultural celebrations, and collaborations with other societies. I would also focus on making our online presence more dynamic so that members stay informed and excited about what’s happening throughout the year.
India Society has an incredible community and some amazing events, and I want to help make sure they get the visibility they deserve. As Head of Marketing, I will work to create creative, professional, and engaging promotions that encourage more people to get involved and be part of the society.
Marketing is the driving force behind our society’s success. As Head of Marketing, I will ensure every event is unmissable, every sponsor is showcased professionally and our brand is instantly recognisable.
I will elevate our digital presence through consistent branding, creative campaigns and trend-aware content across all platforms. From launch graphics to reels, every post will be purposeful and high quality.
I will strengthen sponsor relations by clearly delivering on marketing criteria and creating impactful, visible integrations that build long-term partnerships.
Internally, I will lead an efficient and motivated team by delegating clearly, planning campaigns early and collaborating closely with events and sponsorship. Using analytics to track engagement and turnout, we’ll continuously refine our strategy.
My goal is simple: bold campaigns, bigger reach and record-breaking events for 2026/27.

Hi, I’m Saanvi Nagaraj and I’m a 1st Year Medic. I am applying to run for Head of Marketing for Indian Society. I believe I am suitable for this role as it encompasses the publicity and social media aspects of the society. Previously at my Sixth Form, I was appointed as the Communications Prefect where I created the termly newsletter through leadership and delegating tasks to others in the wider Prefect Team as well as manage the Instagram and other socials. I also acted as the Publicity Officer for the Medic Mentor Virtual Medical Society where planning and communication was essential - I planned multiple sessions where presentations, social media posts and many publicity forms had to be created before the session was approved. In conclusion, I think I am suited for this role due to my vast experience dealing with promotional material and social media communications - skills necessary to excel in this role.
