Indian Music Society: Welfare Officer

When I started university 2 years ago, I felt that there were a lack of opportunities in the university to perform and enjoy Indian Music. I have been exposed to Indian music and a variety of genres from a child and really enjoy how music can bring people together. As welfare officer, I would ensure that all sessions are accessible and that I am a person people can talk to. Music is known to be great for wellbeing and I will make sure that our sessions are a way for people to relax and destress, meet some amazing people (as I have through this journey) and learn something new!
