Healthcare Business Society: Treasurer

I am standing for Treasurer because I am committed to the mission of the Healthcare and Business Society and want to contribute to its long-term sustainability and growth in a strategic, responsible way.

My academic focus in Biomedical Sciences, specifically in Drug Mechanisms, has trained me to think analytically, interpret data critically, and approach problems with precision. Alongside this, my experience with CareRobotics, a MedTech startup, exposed me to the financial and strategic realities of healthcare innovation, including funding structures, investor positioning, and sustainable business models. This intersection of healthcare and business is exactly what HBS represents, and I am eager to help manage its finances with the same rigour and forward-thinking mindset.

Beyond academics, I have held leadership roles that required budgeting and fundraising. As a Student Union Leader at the International school of Geneva and Events Coordinator, I helped organise academic and charity events, balancing impact with resource constraints. These roles taught me the importance of accountability, planning ahead, and ensuring that every financial decision aligns with a clear purpose.

If elected Treasurer, I would focus on:
